The Wilmington Blue Rocks Booster Club (WBRBC) is a not-for-profit organization designed to support Blue Rocks players during their stay in Wilmington. The organization raises funds through various events and raffles as well as organizes the housing for players while they are in town.

Starting in January, the WBRBC holds 10 meetings to discuss upcoming events and fundraisers like the annual "Meet the Blue Rocks Dinner", silent auction and post-game picnics.

The first item on the agenda is the "Meet The Blue Rocks Dinner" and the silent auction held at the Dinner. The Dinner is an excellent environment for players, coaches, Booster Club members and fans to mingle and dine with each other. The funds raised from this event help sustain the WBRBC throughout the season. It is a memorable night for fans and Booster Club members alike. The Dinner is also a great way for the WBRBC to secure housing for the players.

Here are a few ways the WBRBC raises fund to support the players throughout the season:

  • Cracked bats are obtained from the team (that are repaired by a Booster Club member). The bats are autographed and auctioned off every home game.
  • Baseballs are also autographed and auctioned off during each game.
  • The WBRBC will conduct up to three silent auctions on the stadium concourse during high attendance Blue Rocks games.

With the funds raised from these events, the WBRBC is able to provide the team with necessary clubhouse upgrades such as fitness equipment and/or or furniture. The funds will also help the players afford their clubhouse dues.

The WBRBC will often host post-game picnics during the season (usually during the weekend). The picnic is a great opportunity for the members to meet with players and see learn how their experience is in Wilmington.

At the end of the season, all players will receive a "going away" gift. The gift is usually a memento that will remind them of their time spent in Wilmington.

The main goal of the WBRBC is to provide the players with a fond memory of their stay in Wilmington as their careers flourish on the way to a successful Major League career.
